Elkhan Jafarov was born on March 20, 1955 in the city of Baku. His poems have been regularly published in the”Вышка”newspaper and the’Sözün işığı” magazine since 1990. As a result of his poetic activity in 1999 he wrote “The Soul of Hope Lives” (in Russian and Azerbaijani), in 2003 “And there are no boundaries of spacious thoughts” (in Russian and Azerbaijani), in 2005 “My eternal friend, my god of the earth” “(in Russian) a collection of poems has also been published.
E.Jafarov, who glorified love, honesty and patriotism in his poems, has worked in various responsible positions since 1986 as a scientist-economist. He currently works at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
